A life without regrets is one without mistakes.
A life without mistakes is one with no lessons learned.
A life without lessons is one void of growth and maturity.
A life without growth and maturity is motionless. Stagnant. Lifeless. Who wants that?
Thank you God that I have had regrets, make mistakes, and learn lessons.
I want to learn. I want to push forward. I want to see growth.
I can not change the past but I can leave it where it is. In my rear view mirror.
I can offer forgiveness, and let go of bitterness. Every new day offers a fresh opportunity to mature in God’s love through His Word.
Seize the moment and say goodbye to 2014 and every other year before, and press on to what lies ahead.
My mantra for 2015 is from Phillipians 3:13-14, “Forgetting what lies behind, and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”.
What is God calling you to in 2015?
Happy New Year!
