Jamie and Aaron drove up to the house and pulled baby Henderson’s car seat from the car. It was the first time I’d seen them pull him out without the car seat cover that serves to protect him from the thick, yellow Florida pollen.
As the bright west sun illuminated Henderson’s tiny body his face lit up with excitement. He tried to hold his baby blues open to see what sparkled so brightly in the sky.
In one split second watching him I saw, us.
You and me.
Watching as Jesus comes again in the clouds. His glory so bright we can barely hold our eyes open.
Can you see it?
Stunned by the Son’s brilliance we’ll have to squint just to grasp the splendor of His presence.
Oh what a day!
As we look to this future we celebrate the day that makes it possible.
May yours be blessed.
“He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes I am coming soon.’ Amen. come Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:20
